The remarkable story of how Leeds United became the last champions of the Football League before the start of the Premier League. Howard Wilkinson arrived at Elland Road in October 1988 when the team was near the bottom of Division 2. The clubs renaissance was sensational as Gordon Strachan, David Batty, Gary McAllister, Lee Chapman, Mel Sterland and Gary Speed returned Leeds to the pinnacle of the game with a third Division 1 crown.
