Leeds United Cup Kings 1972

The FA Cup is the most prestigious club knockout competition in the world and for supporters there is nothing like cup-fever to grip fans imagination. Prior to the Revie era, each season for Leeds United and Leeds City before them ended in disappointment. Under Revie, Leeds reached four FA Cup finals but triumphed only once. This profusely illustrated book celebrates that success in 1972 when Allan ‘Sniffer’ Clarke scored what has become the most celebrated goal in the club’s history. Every game during the cup run is recalled and the triumphant team recall their memories. Unashamedly nostalgic.
