Leeds Legends

The ‘beautiful game’ in Leeds began on August 30 1904. Throughout 100 years, players have represented Leeds City and Leeds United with distinction but Leeds Legends is not only about the likes of Billy McLeod, Ernie Hart, Willis Edwards, John Charles, Billy Bremner, Jack Charlton, Norman Hunter, Eddie Gray and Gordon Strachan. Managers such as Arthur Fairclough, Don Revie and Howard Wilkinson, and chairman like Hilton Crowther and Harry Reynolds have helped create club folklore. Each biopic illustrates an individual’s attributes and achievements encapsulating the era they served. Included is virtually every star to make 200 appearances, players who made a major impact in a brief spell or demonstrated loyalty over numerous years. Whether battling for honours, fighting relegation or displaying skills, all thrilled supporters in their heyday.
